Job SummaryOversees the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives with direction from Department Director.

Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree from accredited laboratory training program - RequiredLicenses/CertificationsRegistered as a Medical Technologist by The American Society of Clinical PathologistsMT/MLS Certification from ASCP or AMT Required.
All individuals certified ASCP beginning January 1, 2004 must participate and maintain ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) through the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP).
All individuals who are certified AMT beginning January 1, 2006 must participate and maintain AMT Certification Continuation Program (CCP) Minimum Work Experience 3 years of experience as laboratory tech.
