Job Description:
Our Employment Specialist Level II provides employment guidance and case management support (including case note documentation, report writing, client tracking computer application skills) while providing work adjustment/ job development & Training.
This staff member provides employment counseling and coaching to support job placement and retention, working to identify job matches for their target population.
They develop a network of business relationships that results in knowledge of new job openings and build ongoing business relationships with counselors and other community partners.
Individual needs to be comfortable in working with any population.
Individual will need to be flexible as their work schedule will be determined by the job placement & hours of the participant.
The Employment Specialist/ Job Coach will perform the following job duties:
Assisting program participants with identifying job matches for their target population Identifying participant barriers to employment.
Develop a network of employers and businesses for job leads.
Ensuring job placement and providing continued retention job coaching support.
Job Coaching will require being on the job with the participant throughout their shift until independence on job duties are achieved.
Job Coaching will require learning the placement job in order to train with the participant.
Job Coaching will require observing the participant on the job, providing guidance on the job, prompting and modeling the job performance for the participant.
Job Coaching may require doing the job of the participant placement to allow time for the participant to reach required production.
Job Coaching will require problem solving and developing assistive tools and technology to resolve barrier on the job.
Job Coaching will require working with the employer to develop and advocate for reasonable accommodations.
Case management regarding job related issues and follow-up services.
VALID NC DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED (Will transport participants in their personal vehicle while in job development) EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred.
Experience:
Ideal candidate has several years of experience in human services industry and experience working with individuals with disabilities.
HOURS:
Required to work participant schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, etc) to ensure success in job.
Pay:
$21.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
