Summary:
Responsible to reliability test lab, including all testing and maintenance of equipment.
Communicating with customers to determine required testing, scheduling and reporting.
Major
Responsibilities:
Ability to work with considerable independence and exercise judgment and discretion in handling assigned responsibilities, including the ability to resolve problems.
Provide leadership by coaching, guiding and supporting subordinates to be successful.
Responsible for the overall management (supervision, leadership, direction, support, communication and guidance) of associates within designated assigned areas, including manpower, timecards, reduction in OT, scheduling vacation, recommendations related to hiring and corrective action.
Responsible for training and development of assigned associates.
Must be able to effectively communicate and recommend solutions to process/product problems.
Determine necessary equipment required for testing and carry out process.
Communicate with customer for test requirements and scheduling.
Utilize reporting method using software program.
Use necessary measuring equipment for dimensions of product to verify conformance to specifications.
Establish and maintain work instructions and test procedures.

Responsibilities:
Requires teamwork, participation and promotion of company activities such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and Employee Involvement.
Requires effective communication and involvement with team members, internal departments and related outside resources in both written and oral formats.
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Maintain 5's standards:
maintaining good housing keeping.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform duties with minimal supervision.
May require shift work & overtime to support area of responsibility as needed.
May require travel.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
Requires High School Diploma or GED equivalent (must fulfill NC state or federal educational requirements).
Requires 2-5 years of direct experience.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Prefer Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
