The ideal candidate will be a recent two-year college graduate with an accounting or business degree.
Current college students who can work either part-time or full-time while finishing their degree will also be considered.
Responsibilities of this position include performing the following duties, special projects, and helping to prepare timely and accurate financial statements each month:
Posting journal entries Performing account reconciliations Posting payments to customers' accounts Entering vendor invoices Analyzing financial data Creating financial and managerial reports, as needed Assisting with inventory, as needed Qualified candidates will also be open to receiving feedback; organized and able to manage their time well; eager to learn; and, able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum job requirements:
Completion of accounting or other business courses at a two or four-year community college Proficiency in using Excel and other Microsoft applications Familiarity with QuickBooks Job Types:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
